Modern Knights
6 half-length sculptures for 6 classic literary Knights revisited—modern knights embarking on epic quests: the remains of the whole armour hint at the human presence inside, and become sign of a universal Quest for identity. So the armour points at the void underneath, which needs filling and building.
Anthology of the Siren
A collection of 12 sculptures united by the same idea - how lunch break at the end of shift, the “siren” signal, can be a metaphysical suspension in time & place and a collective social goal. It reminds of the ``Lunch Atop a Skyscraper`` photo of the 1930's. Streamlined silhouettes of human beings are sitting on unfinished working sites: they are in a communal and joyful space where sharing can alleviate hardship.
Absolute Putin
Sculpture carves into material to take on shape, just like History navigates through events to deliver us the sense of life in the Present. They both share the same process of selection and cutting out, in search of meaning—so that we all can stuck it on our conscience. And this life-size piece chooses to represent the myth underlying the awakening consciousness of one of the protagonists of our times, as if it were removed from history and dropped into the realm of Storytelling—just so you know, for the sake of Hope.
